About the Firebird ADO.NET Data Provider

The .NET data provider is written in C# and provides a high-performance
native implementation of the GDS32/API functions.
This means that .Net developers can access Firebird databases
without needing to install the Firebird client.

ADO.NET provider for Firebird - 2.6.0
This version contains various bug fixes as well as new features and
improvements. And of course support for some of new Firebird server
