Firebird is free software, used at hundreds of thousands of small and large commercial sites around the world. The Firebird database server software and the many driver interfaces are maintained and supported by a community of volunteers.
You are many, we are few. Our interface with the world is largely through the many
list forums that we maintain.
We use this website to try to be as informative as possible. If you need information, use the drop-down menus at the top of every page to locate the information you want.
To report broken links or inquire about content, send an email to the Firebird Project Web Team <email@example.com>. If you want to have a dialogue about your website issue, please subscribe to the list forum first..
Free support is available 24/7 from the many list forums run by the Firebird community. You must be subscribed to a list in order to post questions and receive answers.
Paid support is available from several third-party sources. The Firebird Foundation keeps a list of its active members who offer these services.
Firebird developers watch the firebird-job-board list forum for employment and contract opportunities. You can subscribe to this forum and post your requirements there. (Employment agencies cannot post.)
The Firebird Project development team as an entity does not do one-to-one support, paid or unpaid. Please don't ask.
